It's been a minute since Justin Timberlake dropped new music, but it looks like that might be about to change. He shared a picture of himself in the studio today with none other than Pharrell. The two musicians certainly aren't strangers, as Pharrell co-wrote and produced almost every track on Timberlake's 2002 debut album Justified. Timberlake was also featured on Pharrell's 2014 album G I R L. While it would be great to hope this is for a new solo album by Timberlake, what's more likely is that they're working on music for the upcoming Dreamworks Animation film Trolls. Timberlake signed on to voice one of the characters, and will also be executive producing the soundtrack, for which he will write and perform original music. Considering there hasn't been any new music from Timberlake's camp since he dropped part two of The 20/20 Experience back in 2013, anything new is welcome. Whatever they're cooking up, it seems the reunion has already gotten one fan excited. Tyler, the Creator saw the news and reacted like this (via COMPLEX)
